Editorial policy
This page explains how Usanzia content is created, who bylines it and what we do when we get something wrong.
Who bylines our articles
Every article is bylined Redacción Usanzia, the publication's editorial team. We publish under the brand on purpose: responsibility for each piece lies with the publication as a whole.
How we use artificial intelligence
We use AI tools to research and write our articles. They help us find sources, organise information, suggest structures and produce drafts — which fits the subject we cover: working with AI methodically.
Every article is reviewed by a person before it is published. Nothing goes live automatically without that review. During review we check that:
- every fact, figure and quote appears in the linked source;
- the article adds something of its own (a process, an example, an analysis) rather than summarising what others have already published;
- the text is clear, useful and accurate.
If a topic isn't strong enough for a genuinely useful article, we drop it, even if it's trending. Featured images may be AI-generated; when they are, they're illustrations, not photographs of real people or events.
How we choose sources
- We favour primary sources: official documentation (for example Google Search Central or each tool's help centre), original studies and companies' own announcements.
- We link every source at the end of the article, with its date.
- When a study has limitations (small sample, unclear methodology, or published by a company selling a related product), we say so.
- Social media posts help us spot topics; when we cite them, we link to them with their authorship and, at most, a short verbatim quote. We don't copy or rewrite their content.
- AI is not a source: anything produced by a model is checked against the original source.
- We don't make up data, quotes or statistics. If something isn't confirmed, we say so.
How we correct mistakes
If we find a mistake or someone reports one:
- We check it against the original source.
- If it is a mistake, we correct the article as soon as possible.
- If the correction changes the meaning of the information, we add a correction note at the end with the date and what was changed.
Minor typos and broken links are fixed without a note.
How we update content
- We regularly review the main guides in each category, because tools and search engine policies change.
- When an article is substantially updated, we show the last updated date alongside the publication date.
- We don't change an article's date unless its content has genuinely changed.
Independence
If we ever publish sponsored content or affiliate links, we will label them clearly within the article.
